Grumpy Butt!

Baby E has been a handful today! She woke up bright and early and hasn't slept more than an hour since. We are tired!!! We went for a walk and when she was in the wrap, she slept. Nice and quiet. And now she screams!! Poor Daddy - hopefully that babe will sleep tonight. We all need some rest!

My friend Jenny's daughter (another Baby E) loves Chad. When the Alltel commercials are on, she talks about Chad...she just adores him! so, we went to visit the family when they were campoing near our new place. E and Chad played with her shoes - matching them up, unmatching them, mixing them, and putting them in everyone's way. How sweet!

Uncle Steve

 

Baby E loves her Uncle Steve! When she hears his voice, she freezes, stops making noise, and looks at him. It's alright - I think he loves her just as much!

Great Grandparents

Baby E was lucky enough to visit her Great Gramma and Grampa over the weekend. I think that she has both of them wrapped around her little finger already. What a lucky girl....

This hat!!!

This hat that Baby E has cracks me up! We were on our way to Big Rapids and put it on her (it matched her outfit). It makes her look so tough! I love it on her - I'm going to have to find a lot more outfits that she can wear it with :-).

And here is the outfit she wore - I love ruffles on the butt. An outfit that I see with ROTB is an outfit that Baby E will own!

Rough Night

Argh! This is Baby E before the storm hit last night. The crying storm. She was inconsolable for hours...so were her parents. The swing didn't work, swaddling didn't work, shhshhing didn't work, her sucky didn't work. Nothing worked!!! Yikes!

Out of sheer desperation, Daddy eventually put her in the car seat and was going to take her for a drive. She was asleep before he even got to the car. She slept the entire time he drove around. And she was awake(!!!) when they got home to Mommy. How unfair?

Smile....almost!

So, Baby E has mastered the art of smiling. Not just because, we have to smile to get her to do it, but she does it! Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to smile when I've got the camera out. These are the closest pictures that I've gotten. Not bad, right?

They look alike, they talk alike, sometimes they even sleep alike...

Baby E and Daddy asleep in our bed. The Boppy is the only way she sleeps lately, so we use it often (anything to sleep for 2 hour stretches!). This shot was too good to pass up...aren't they cute?!

So. since we are staying at my Grandparents' place and it is a lot smaller than our old place, a lot of our stuff is in storage. In storage here. In a truck with the wheels removed and plopped on the ground. I miss my stuff....
