This kitty does NOT like Jenny. Apparently coming into her house smelling like another kitty is not acceptable. Kiara was mad the whole time Jenny and Mom were here. She hissed and swiped at anyone that got too close. Poor kitty...

With only 11 days left until our due date, time is feeling very fleeting! I'm currently trying to spend every single minute with Chad...much to his dismay :-)

My Mommy and Jenny

Mom and Jenny came yesterday to see me before the baby. The only stayed until this afternoon, and drove right back home. What good people, huh?

We went to Flat Top Grill (our favorite restaurant) in Evanston. We drove up Sheridan on the way home and stopped at a beach on fnacy-pants town. Chad took this picture of us on the pier. I'm surprised at how huge I look! Yikes!!!

A Hat - Knitted Even!!

So, I've been working on learning to knit, and I think I've got it! I can use double pointed needles (dpns for those of us in the know :-) ). I made this cute little hat last week and finished it up Monday. I'll post a finished picture when I get a good one. I might need to wait for a baby to put it on!

The Baby Boy Quilt

My new sewing machine is making quilt-making much easier! Especially since I have pregnancy carpal tunnel in my hands now. I swear that I haven't felt my middle, right finger for at least two weeks! Here's a pic of how this little cutie is turning out - I love it almost as much as the pink one :-)

And here is an update of my very large feet. Chad loves to take pictures of them. I told him at Target yesterday to keep walking, I didn't want anyone to be able to see them clearly! Also notice the longish toenails - I asked Chad to cut them, since I can't really reach, and he said "Tell me when it hurts." I told him to get away from my feet - cutting toenails isn't supposed to hurt!!

Loft Construction

The top picture is what our loft used to look like - open, full of sun light. The bottom picture is what our new room looks like. Hopefully it'll be a good selling point!

My New Machine!

Look what Chad got me!! I have fought with my old machine for years (I think as soon as I got it), and Chad finally had enough. I found this one at a very good deal and snapped it up. We've been frineds now for 2+ weeks, and I think we'll be friends forever :-)

Our Last Childbirth Prep Class!

Last night was our last class - not too bad, until you remember that today is 37 weeks and Baby Miller is officially 'done'. Just getting chubbier and cuter, I'm sure :-) Yikes!!!

I did the thing that drives me the craziest...ask my due date, then tell me what event they have in July. Like I'm going to hold out for their day? What am I supposed to say? So, last night, a lady told us that her due date in June 26. I told her it was the same as my birthday. Ugh! I feel so bad...hopefully it doesn't drive her crazy :-)

Man Shower

The man shower was held this weekend. For those of you not sure of what that entails, it's apparently beer, beer, wiffle ball, and more beer. Oh, and non-stop sports talk. But I also got a few good pictures, so I put them up on the web. Here's a link so that you can check out what the boys did.

Hey! Look what I made!

I made this while Chad was in Switzerland, and keep forgetting to post it. It's my very first apron, and I'm quite proud of it :-) It's supposed to sit lower, but since my belly is so big, I seem tpo have no waist.
