Goodness Grace

Cheryl's little sister (that's right) swinging her brother and bossing her sister. Little Grace slapped Cheryl's stomach and said "What's that?". Cheryl said "baby" and Grace wanted it to come out and play. How cute.

The King family got together on Sunday for a family baby party. Here's Chad and me and our cake - it was delicious!! It was chocolate with a coconutty frosting. YUM!

We had a great day - sunny and actually kind of hot for a northern Michigan Memorial Day!

No rain, but there was a shower!!

This weekend, my mom and friend Jenny threw a baby shower for us. I think that they both went a little overboard, but we had a great time!

My First Mother's Day

I can't believe that next year we will have a little one here for Mother's Day! Yikes! I am in an online group of mommies that are all due in July and we had a shower for each other. We were paired up and sent gifts. I sent A* some cute little clothes that she registered for and some she didn't :-) W* sent me some cute little toys and the gerber cloth diapers that we had registered for. Here's a pic...

Oops!

It's been a while since I posted - I've been fighting allergies, so I've been laying pretty low. I even called in sick for two days - which I never do!

But, look at what we saw in our neighbor's backyard earlier this week. So cool!

Nesting?

So, I've made Chad startg oing through closets. We have cleaned out two closets that were full of stuff we no longer wanted/needed...like expired medicine, sheets for beds we don't have, and stinky lotions.

A Foreign Quilt

The quilt finally made it to Switzerland! I started it in August and finished it in late March. Everything was hand-stitched and quilted, so it took a while! The buyer loved it - maybe it will lead to more orders from other Swiss???
